Process: Similar to other crumb rubber sizes, there are two main production methods:

Ambient Mechanical Grinding:

Scrap tires are shredded into chips.

Metal and fibers are removed read more using magnets and air separation systems.

The rubber crumb is then ground in mills. Due to the coarse target size of 10 mesh, fewer grinding passes might be needed compared to finer grades.

Screens or air classifiers separate the crumb into different sizes, isolating the 10 mesh fraction. However, for 10 mesh, mechanical grinding is typically sufficien
